Dr. Mendenhall Recognized During UF Spring Assembly
Several UF Health Cancer Center members were honored during the annual University of Florida College of Medicine spring assembly, which celebrates exceptional faculty achievements. Awards recognize excellence in clinical care, rising stars in the medical field and lifetime achievement.
Nancy Price Mendenhall, MD, FACR, FASTRO, was recognized for 40 years of service. She is a professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and is the medical director of the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute.

Dr. Mendenhall is a founding member of the Institute and played a key role in establishing the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, the first proton therapy center in the Southeast. This August, the Institute marks its 19th year of treating patients. Dr. Mendenhall specializes in both research and patient care, focusing on prostate cancer, breast cancer, lymphoma and pediatric cancers.
